The present Bethel Mekane Yesus Girls School previously known as American Misson or (Yehiwot Berhan School) found in Addis Ababa Ethiopia was established long ago in 1924 by United Presbyterian Mission who entered Ethiopia through western wollega.
The found was Dr. Thomas Lambie a medical doctor who used to serve in southern Sudan at that time. The school is the oldest girls school in the country established in 1924 (1916E.C.). Read More
